Kid Training Tips

Work up a sweat!!

High energy workouts (and sports) help our hearts to pump better and give us more energy to help us to look and feel our best. Enjoy high energy exercise three to four times a week to help increase your kids and your own energy output.

Every day (as much as they can) Children should play out doors, ride bikes and walk to school when possible. Suggest they earn some pocket money by doing chores around the house or for neighbours. Get them to take the dog for a walk or the neighbours pet if you don’t have one. Send them to the park with their friends to play with a ball or Frisbee.

Two to five times a week kids should be encouraged to take part in aerobic exercise for at least 20 minutes each time. Try cycling, swimming, rollerblading, skipping, trampolining or skate boarding. For regular exercise and fun with friends, try organised sports and activities such as soccer, tennis, cricket, rugby, hockey, ballet, netball or whatever takes their fancy.

Cut down on TV, Videos, surfing the internet and playing computer games. These activities are ok to do some of the time, but not all of the time. for some adult training tips, download our ebook.
