health and fitness assessments

This is one of the most important sessions we hold with you.During your health and fitness evaluation we conduct a full and comprehensive fitness test and health evaluation, blood pressure assessment with resting heart rate & anthropometry (body) measurements. 

We conduct further testing through a highly technical scale which measures your body fat, the amount of muscle your body holds, your basal metabolic rate (i.e how much energy from food your body needs a day to function, hydration levels and most importantly your Visceral rating.  This tells us how much body fat you store around your abdomen which is not always relative to your total body fat percentage. The more fat you store around your abdomen the higher your risk of heart & cardiovascular diesease.

Based on all of the above information we will tell you what your current metobolic age is which again is relative to the type of training program you may need. 

We will take you through the results of your test and discuss what your personal health and fitness goals are with an explain of how we are going to go about helping you to achieve them.We break this down into 6-8 weekly reviews.

This way we can assess your long terms goals and break them down into achievable and realistic short term goals with each new program. And not just any program, this program will be specifically designed for you by our highly qualified, professional trainers based on the information we have collected from you. 

So whatever your needs we can help you. If it’s a rehabilitation style program i.e if you are coming back from injury or have had an accident or simply muscular tension and muscle imbalance issues from sitting behind a desk all day, right through to weight loss and muscle gain programs.You may want to just improve your health, bone density or cardiovascular fitness, whatever it is we will structure a specific goal orientated program for you.
